Message If it is similar to most Euro grades it is 95RON, 85MON, which gives an AKI (the US "octane" number) of 90. Typical Euro 98 is 98/88 or an AKI of 93, which is what most of us get in the US. Your 96 is probably 91 AKI, which is what is available in California, most western US states and is probably where we will all be once MTBE is phased out.
